Yes. There are some medications that are always prescribed in-person and cannot be prescribed virtualy. These include opioids and other controlled substances and some psychiatric and lifestyle drugs.
When your doctor orders lab tests, HealthTap automatically sends the order to Quest Diagnostics. But if you prefer a different lab, you can print your order and bring it to another lab that’s more convenient for you.
Once your results are ready, HealthTap will notify you so you can review them with your doctor and make a plan together.
Yes. You'll be able to access all visit notes, including information regarding any prescriptions, lab tests, referrals, or doctor's notes directly in the HealthTap website or mobile app.
Yes. Doctors on HealthTap can recommend specialist or in-person care whenever it's clinically appropriate. You can then book an appointment with a specialist of your choice.
If your doctor determines you need in-person follow-up, they’ll provide a referral during your visit. All documentation—including referrals—is available in your HealthTap account and can be easily downloaded as a PDF to share with other healthcare providers.
