Preparation Directions: Stove top and Microwave Amounts: 1 Serving: Water (Decrease water for thicker cereal; increase water for thinner cereal) - 1-1/4 cups; Oat Bran - 1/2 cup; Salt (optional) - dash. 2 Servings: Water (Decrease water for thicker cereal; increase water for thinner cereal) - 2-1/2 cups; Oat Bran - 1 cup; Salt (optional) - dash. 3 Servings: Water (Decrease water for thicker cereal; increase water for thinner cereal) - 3-3/4 cups; Oat Bran - 1-1/2 cups; Salt (optional) - 1/8 tsp. Stove Top: (1) Combine water, oat bran and salt. (2) Bring to a boil. (3) Cook about 1 minute over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Microwave (One Serving): (1) Combine water, oat bran and salt in medium (1-1/2 qt.) microwaveable bowl. (2) Microwave on high. 1 Serving: 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. 2 Servings: 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 minutes or until thickened, stirring halfway through cooking. (3) 3. Stir before serving. To open press & pull back.
